PPH Hemorrhoid Treatment Center
Overview
Hemorrhoids are one of the most common ailments known in both men and women, but many suffer in silence rather than discuss hemorrhoid treatment with their doctor.
The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons report that 50% of all Americans will have hemorrhoids in their lifetime. One reason people do not talk about hemorrhoid problems with their doctor is because they anticipate a painful, traditional hemorrhoid surgery.
A minimally invasive surgical approach recently introduced in
the United States, called Procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids
(PPH), may help patients recover from hemorrhoid surgery faster
with less pain when compared to conventional hemorrhoidectomy
procedures. Hemorrhoid Treatment Procedure
What is hemorrhoid?
Each
of us has veins within the anus that tend to stretch under pressure,
somewhat like varicose veins in the legs. Hemorrhoids are enlarged
veins in the anus or lower rectum. Hemorrhoids can affect men
and women alike. Pregnant women often develop hemorrhoids, because
of the strain from carrying the baby and from giving birth. Men
are more likely than women to suffer from hemorrhoids that require
professional medical treatment. Obesity, straining during bowel
movements, sitting too long on the toilet, or standing or lifting
too much can make hemorrhoids worse. Constipation is oftentimes
the main cause of hemorrhoids.

Gallstones: (The Most Common Gallbladder
Problem)
When the amounts of bile and other fluids inside the gallbladder
become unbalanced, some of the chemicals solidify and form gallstones
(a kind of sediment). If the stones stay in the gallbladder, they
may not cause major problems. If the stones move and block ducts,
bile can back up, creating symptoms and leading to infections
and diseases of the gallbladder, liver, or pancreas. Read more on Gallbladder Symptoms and Treatment
Hernia Repair
A hernia occurs when a small sac containing tissue protrudes through
an opening in the muscles of the abdominal wall. A hernia develops
when the outer layers of the abdominal wall weaken, bulge, or
tear. The hole in this outer layer allows the inner lining of
the cavity to protrude and form a bulge or swelling. Any part
of the abdominal wall can develop a hernia. Read

Varicose Veins
The Closure procedure is a minimally invasive treatment for a condition known as superficial venous reflux, which can cause pain, swelling and varicose veins in your legs. The condition develops when the valves that usually keep blood flowing out of your legs become damaged or diseased.
